| Urakawa, which faces the Pacific Ocean with the
beautiful Hidaka mountain range as a backdrop, is blessed by an
abundance of crops from both the land and sea. In Urakawa there are
many outdoor activities you can do, such as riding, climbing,
fishing, and camping. Urakawa also has a thoroughbred museum, a
library and various recreation facilities connected to thoroughbred
horses. For example, AERU is a resort hotel with an excellent
restaurant, a spa and various outdoor activities such as
