AERU

AERU is a resort hotel that opened in April, 1999. It is situated in grounds large enough (107ha.) to enjoy outdoor activities such as riding. There are 108 beds in the main building and 88 beds for groups in other buildings and always a warm welcome for visitors. There are 14 horses in AERU. Horse trekking and short horse riding are available throughout the year. Adults and children can enjoy miniature golf, the toyshop, and cooking. Pottery can be tried in the craft house.

 

What is in AERU?

 

Spa

"AERU no yu" is in the third floor of the main building. From the window of the spa the magnificent Hidaka mountains are visible.

Guest rooms

Rooms in main building are stretched out both sides like a wing. Comfortable spaces and lots of sunshine make you feel relaxed.

Entrance

There is a spacious reception area with an entrance on the ground floor and first floor, where the front desk is located.

Resturant

The restaurant serves seasonal varieties of foods using local ingredients.

Price ranges from 4,200Yen(30mins) to 36,750Yen(5hours)
Short horse ride
525Yen per person (one time)
*In the morning and evening, there is a unique spectacle as all the horses used in AERU are moved between their stables and the area where they are ridden.

 

Cultural Experiences

There are many programs ensuring that visitors to AERU can experience local culture, such as making Soba (Japanese traditonal noodles), pottery, baking, and various handicrafts.

Other activites
Miniature golf (18holes), 500Yen/Bike rental, 500Yen per day

There is also a special toy house, where Japanese traditonal toys are exibited.
